The Banda Mexicana (Mexican Band) of Chicago has arranged a function in celebration of the anniversary of the glorious victory of General Don Ignacio Zaragoza in the City of Pueblo, May 5, 1862. The announcement of this affair has aroused tremendous enthusiasm in the Colony.

The date has been set for May fourth and the place will be Pilsen Park, at 24th Street and Albany Avenue. We hope that this affair will surpass all those which have taken place so far.

The cultured director of the band, Mr. Isaias Medina Campa, will be in charge of the program. In addition to the band numbers the Morales Troupe will feature Mexican Songs.

The function will end with a dance which will last until 3 a.m.
