The Democrats had their primary for mayor last Thursday, and their city convention will take place today. It is very clear that Carter Harrison is politically dead. Although Mayor Dunne was victorious over Harrison, the Mayor cannot be absolutely sure of getting the nomination today. It, therefore, seems possible that Fred Busse now has a greater change than ever before to be nominated as candidate for mayor of Chicago.
