p.4.col.4.......The funeral of the late Christian Holst on Sunday January 17, brought a great many to pay their last respects to a man whom to know was to love. Lodge #18 D.B.S. attended in a body.

Pastor Rygh,an old Norwegian friend, spoke at the home; the song service was rendered by the Magneten Sang Forening: (The Magnet Singing Society) Harry Thuesen, President of Lodge #18, officiated at the grave, and spoke highly of the esteem in which Mr. Holst was held by all who knew him as lodge member and friend.

The many floral offerings were a mute but adequate testimonial too of the regard for one who will be sadly missed.
