The Hans Christian Andersen Monument Association of Dec. 1891 has recently been incorporated.

The incorporators are:Andrew Petersen, president; August Hyllestad, vice-president; C. H. Hansen, cashier; Carl M. Koedt, secretary.

Committee members are: Meyer Ballin, C. L. Beson, Fritz Frandsen, N. O. Fugl, Johannes Gelert, Henry L. Hertz, G. J. Hoffman, Oluf Hasen, K. H. Hendricksen, Niels Juul, Dr. Niels Johnson, R. J. Jensen, Anders Knudsen, Valdemar Lund, C. C. Larsen, Colonel Thos. I. H. Monstery, A. C. Nielsen, Dr. T. Nielsen, Geo. Olsen, H. A. C. Ockenholt, P. Richelsen, M. Salmonsen.

This committee assures us that a monument of Andersen will be erected in Lincoln Park.

The composition of the committee, consisting of the most prominent and active members of the Danish Colony, assures us that work will be done and results achieved. The proposed monument will be thirty feet from base to crown. This is a worthwhile enterprise. May it succeed.
