De Forenede Staters Danske Almanak, 1915
Hundestejlen, a Danish hunting and fishing club, was organized in 1900 and incorporated in 1903. The club has only twenty members, and meets once a month in the homes of its members. The president is Mr. F. W. Hansen, and the secretary, Emil Christensen.
The club owns two clubhouses at Nippersink Lake, near Fox Lake. One house was built in 1905 and the other one a few years before. There are twelve sleeping rooms at Nippersink, a kitchen, and a dining room. Several of the members own small motor boats for use on the beautiful lake.
