Meeting of the Cesko-Americka Nemocnice

A meeting of the board of directors of the Cesko-Americka Nemocnice (Bohemian-American Hospital) in Chicago was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Mr. John A. Cervenka. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as read by the secretary, Dr. Ludvik Fiser. Treasurer Frank G. Hajicek reported donations from various sources totaling $421 and announced that several of the contributions have expressed their willingness to give additional contributions if they are needed.....

The committee on the directory reported favorably on Mr. R. Jaromir Psenka's proposal and offered suggestions as to ways and means by which it would be possible to publish the directory most efficiently and in the shortest possible time.....The committee's suggestions were adopted and that group was also charged with the duty of studying the question of stamps.....

In line with Mr. John A. Cervenka's proposal, the board agreed to establish 2permanent offices....

Dr. Fiser was appointed as the board's representative for the counting of ballots in the Pilsen Brewing Company's prize contest.....
