Den Skandinaviske Arbejdersangforening (The Scandinavian Workingmen's Singing Society), on the South Side, gave its first concert October 30. It received very unfavorable criticism in the paper. The program was very poor, and the singers had not been properly trained. The song leader was Mr. Remmer.
