Translated and set to music Shelley’s “Indian Serenade”, and several others. For twenty-two years he conducted singing at All Souls Church, conducted Eisteddfod at Panama Exposition, and supervised Department of Music in Chicago Pubic Schools.

Born in Wales 1844, came to United States in 1864, went to Chicago at time of Columbian World’s Fair.
