At the last meeting of the United Hebrew Trades, the I. L. Peretz Writers Verein were accepted unanimously as an acknowledged union. The Jewish Writers Union is in existence for a period of 6 years and it became one of the best organized unions.

Zetzer, Lilyput, Melech Epstein of the writers verein were appointed as delegates to the United Hebrew Trades. Max Pine, the secretary of the United Hebrew Trades, who is also a member of the Writers Verein addressed the writers yesterday. He told them that the United Hebrew Trades is proud of the affiliation of the Writers Union.

They resolved to send five hundred dollars to the Writers in Warsaw, who are in great need.
