Interview with Rev. J. Juska of the St. Cross Parish

The St. Cross parish was organized by Rev. Alex Skrypko in 1904. He was the first priest and is still serving at the present time. During all these years he has ten assistants. In the beginning there were about 1,400 parighioners, but now there are only about five hundred.
The parish maintains a school which has about two hundred pupils. Before, there were about eight hundred pupils. Nine sisters are the teachers.
Also, the parish has a St. Cecilia Choir, which has about sixty members. Their leader, an organist, is V. Danksa.
