[Y.M.C.A. Gives Citizenship Classes to Lithuanians]

Lietuva, Feb. 20, 1914

An evening school was opened last Saturday in the Radavičius Hall, 936 W. 33rd Street. Mrs. Radavicius had approached the Y.M.C.A., and Abraham Bowers, Secretary of the Y.M.C.A., promised to conduct classes two or three times a week. He will teach the English language and will prepare students for applying for citizenship papers. There will be no charge for the classes. About seventy attended Saturday.
