The Naujienos (News) has progressed to such an extent that we have been forced to seek another assistant for our editorial staff. We are pleased to announce that beginning May 1, Mr. Anthony Lalis, known to everyone as the author of the English-Lithuanian Dictionary, will become a member of the editorial staff of the Naujienos. Comrade Lalis is well known to the intelligent Lithuanian public as a talented writer and a gifted leader. For many years he has been active in the Socialist Movement and at present he belongs to the Socialist Party. He is one of the founders of the Naujienos, and has contributed various articles to this publication. With Comrade Lalis added to our editorial staff the Naujienos will be greatly improved.
