The Dramatic Circle Of St. John Cantius Parish staged a benefit performance at Walsh's hall yesterday in honor of the birthday of Reverend John Kasprzycki, pastor of the parish. The play, "Dosag w Kominie" (The Dowry In the Chimney), in two acts, with songs, was successfully presented to a capacity audience.

The leading roles were portrayed by Ignace Kowalski, Mr. Ratajczyk, Joseph Wasilewski, John Kielminski, F. G. Basiewicz, A. Zbilski, Miss Helen Piatkowska, and Miss Genza.

After the play an exercise was presented by the beautiful Krakowianki [Translator's note: Young ladies dressed in costumes of old Cracow]. This terminated the program.

Included among the large audience were the priests of St. John Cantius Parish.
