Dedicate Cormerstone of New Church Building in Town of Lake

Consecration ceremonies of the cornerstone of the now church building in St. Joseph Parish ware held yesterday at 48th and Paulina Streets.
The services were performed by Reverend Jaeger, O. S. D. Reverend M. Pyplatz, pastor of St. Joseph Parish, and many other priests were present. All societies of the parish and hundreds of parishioners were also present at the rites. Many important documents were placed in a special case and sealed in the cornerstone.
The new church is to be a stone-and-brick structure, measuring 172 by 77 feet. Its towers will be 167 feet high. The cost of the now church building is placed at $90,000; the first story is to cost $30,000.
