From the St. Michael the Archangel Parish in South Chicago

The forty-hour devotion services which began last Wednesday, March 4, in the St. Michael The Archangel Parish in South Chicago, was concluded on Friday, March 6.

Besides the two parish priests, Reverend A. Nowicki and Reverend Xavier Gurowski, the following priests also came to help in the services and to deliver sermons: Very Reverend Simon Kobrzynski, Superior of the Resurrectionist Congregation; Reverend John Radziejewski, pastor, and Reverend Paul Rhode, of St. Adalbert's Parish; Reverend Floryan Matuszewski and Reverend Anzelm Babski, of the St. John Cantius Parish; and Reverend Biela, of St. Hedwig's Parish.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the Holy Mass was celebrated by the Reverend Xavier Gurowski, and on Friday by Reverend Biela.

All of the parish societies participated in a body. Over one thousand persons received Holy Communion.
