From the St. Hedwig Parish
Dziennik Chicagoski, July 27, 1896
A meeting of the members of the St. Hedwig Parish committee was held yesterday, at which the financial report of the parish was read.
A new parish committee was elected.....[Translator's note: Names of committee members are omitted in translation.]
Six of the committee members belong to the first committee and twelve to the second committee.
It was decided to hold an annual parish meeting at this time of the year, to commemorate the opening of St. Hedwig's Parish.
The parishioners are working energetically with their pastor, and the number of parishioners is increasing daily. Last week fifty new families registered, 2the greater number of them from the St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish.
