Mr. Gerardo Fernandez, the well known president of the Spanish Union, has recovered from an operation for appendicitis which was performed in the Mercedes Hospital of Gary, Indiana.

During his illness the distinguished youn man was visited by many friends and acquaintances who were greatly concerned about his condition. We are pleased by his recovery.
