At the convention of the Illinois Agricultural Association, which was held in Chicago last week, it was reported that the farmers of this State are taking up the idea of the co-operative sale of their products. The first attempts in this direction were made in July last year, and the results obtained are very encouraging. There are now in the state six organizations that specialize in the marketing of eggs and poultry on a co-operative basis. Last month, they marketed twenty thousand dozens of eggs.
