The Society for a Danish Old People's Home in Chicago has been in existence seven years, and has $8,200 in mortgages and three acres of land on which $1,500 has been paid. It has two hundred members, who pay twenty-five cents every month. During the year 1896-1897 it took in $1,665.66, and during 1897-1898 the net income was $1,593.68.
