Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bohemian Charitable Association

The monthly meeting of the board of directors of the Ceska Dobrocinna Spolecnost (Bohemian Charitable Association), held Friday at the office of the Association, 2603 South Kedzie Avenue, was called to order by the chairman, Mr. Stanislav J. Loula. The minutes of the last meeting were approved as read. The following contributions were then announced: The Pilsen Brewing Company, $50; the Atlas Brewing Company, $50; the Tabor Supply Company, $25; Anton Vanek and Sons, $5; Mr. Anton Laadt, $5; Reverend Vaclav Vanek, $5; Mr Vladimir Spatny, $5; Alderman John Toman, $25; Mr. Karel J. Novak, $12. Mr. Frank G. Hajicek donated ten dollars in postage stamps. Mr. Anton J. Cermak donated two dollars in postage stamps.
The financial report on the ball of the Ceska Dobrocinna Spolecnost, held October 29, was read and approved. The individual items read as follows:

Following this, the report of the committee on Christmas donations was approved. The not proceeds of the Christmas collection amounted to $1,560.45.
3Seventy-nine families were given monetary gifts, and Christmas baskets were given to two hundred families. The remaining sum from the collection will be used to provide clothes for poor children.....
