The annual meeting of the Board of Directors of the Utulna A Sirotcinec (Old People's Home and Orphanage) was held yesterday in the hall of the Cesko Americka Svobodomyslna Skola (Bohemian-American Free Thought School), at 1126 West 18th Street. The meeting was well attended and Mr. Eugene Frydl presided. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The manager of the Home, Mr. Bolek, gave a report on the joyful holiday season at the institution. The benefactors saw to it that the orphans and the old people had a happy holiday. They contributed abundantly with such gifts as fruit, candy, nuts, cake, and clothing.

A special meeting is to be held January 29, 1912, at 8 P.M. Receipts at this meeting were $1,805.25; disbursements will be announced at a later date. The meeting was them adjourned.
