In yesterday's edition, the Times indulges once more in attacks upon Mr. Hesing, based merely upon hearsay. The Times claims that Mr. Hesing received $10,000 from Walker upon his promise to help Mr. Walker in securing the contract for the building of the new City Hall. Mr. Hesing declares that that this assertion is a lie from beginning to end.
