Chief Librarian, J. Chr. Bay of the John Crerar Library has donated a very valuable collection of Danish Seals to the University of Chicago.

The collection consists of seals of various Danish cities, towns, counties, institutions and embassies, noble families, and several Royal seals.

The gift has been included in the collection of Scandinavian coins and medals, and will be of great value in the identification of historical documents.
