Opportunities in Michigan's Fruit Belt
Revyen, May 23, 1914
Mr. Peder H. Jensen, an instructor at the Ashland High School (Translator's note: This is a Danish "People's High School"), has recently published a pamphlet describing the Danish colony of Ashland, near Grant in the fruit-growing district of the State of Michigan, as offering fine opportunities for Danish farmers.
The high school is the center of the colony, which also supports a Danish Church and grade school and other organizations for the preservation of Danish language and traditions.
Upon request, the pamphlet is forwarded free of charge.
