The governor of the Danish West Indies has prohibited all American war-ships to take in coal at any Danish harbor as coal is war contraband. The paper, Bien, reminds its readers that during the Civil War the governor of the same islands had turned the cannons on an American man-of-war that tried to take in coal at the harbor of St. Thomas.
