The Lithuanian Alliance of America (Chicago branches) has arranged a lecture tour for Mr. Chmieliauskas among the Chicago Lithuanian colony.

Mr. Chmieliauskas comes from Prussian Lithuania. He is a representative sf the Lithuanian newspaper Birute of Prussia.

Last Sunday he spoke at the Aurora Gate Parish Hall on the West Side. He told how the government of Germany with all its power is trying to Germanize the Lithuanians in Prussia. For this reason, to check Germanism among the Lithuanians in Prussia, they publish Lithuanian newspapers. Mr. Chmieliauskas came to America to obtain material help for their newspaper, in order to combat Germanism in Prussia. He will speak throughout the Lithuanian colony in Chicago.
